Sunroom - Dining Room - Kitchen

Wow, a lot of stuff has been keeping me quite busy around the house from finishing up the 3 season room conversion to our new dining room, to ripping out all of the counters and cabinets in the kitchen this past weekend getting it ready for new ones being installed next week. Although now we have to live off cooking on the grill and in the microwave for the next week or so, it will look nice and be functionable when done.. I just wish it was done now. I will be posting pictures up here quite soon with the befores and after shots !!

Before and After - Living Room

This is the before of the living room take on January 29th. The typical plain white walls so we did a little updating and got some furniture in there. This is the first room when you walk in the house, its more of a sitting room to enjoy the fireplace and take your shoes off to stay a while. We have been busy painting and unpacking and unpacking and unpacking and did I mention unpacking boxes. It seems like it may never end. We are getting rid of things as we go through them too , so that is a good thing. We are having our first guest over tomorrow night and cooking them dinner. Hopefully everything turns out ok . I'm sure it will.

I'm sure there will be more. I only have a before
view from this angle and one into the kitchen. On
the side near the door is an area rug and a tall
wooden cabinet that eventually end up in the
kitchen once that is finished. For now we just
painted the cabinets and walls in there. I will add
pictures of that as well in another post. Hope you

Closed already...

Well we closed the end of January, and then were finally able to start moving things in a week later after some issues with the seller's lawyer. Anyways..... We've been painting a bunch of the rooms and I decided to prime and repaint the kitchen cabinets from a dark brown to a nice bright white to give the kitchen a little more updating for now, until one day when we can actually redo the kitchen. So far we have painted the living room, kitchen, computer room, CJs room and the Master bedroom. There are lots of little projects we need to finish right now and the other things will wait.. This Saturday the 1st of March we are moving all of the big stuff from my townhouse in Dracut down, which btw I am still trying to sell. I really want to get rid of it, it's just that the market is horrible... Pictures to come here soon!!

Almost home.......... (cookies)

On January 29th if all goes well, which it should, this will be our new home in Cumberland, RI. It is a great house , with great land, in a great neighborhood. I doctored the pictured and brightened the colors a bit. I have to say we will be changing the colors of this house when time and money permits. Really ? Yes, I mean yellow with teal shutters, ugh!! I can't wait until all this is over and we are in, and I can sell my place up in Dracut as well. Wish us luck and I'll keep updates of our changes, inside and out!!!
